Hello Everyone,
I planed to make a photoshop competition for people who like to do Art work on Photo editing programs. If you are interested of course the contest Already Takes entries! You are free to Enter and I Know few of the people thought this is a siggy contest It’s not a siggy contest You can add writing to your picture *Watermark is strictly needed*. But it can be any size and file. The rules:

-Any size can be used.
-No Hentai or Ecchi please. (If I get any Ecchi or Hentai I am afraid you will not be allowed in the contest)
-One Entry per person!
-Watermark needs to be on the picture so the Judges ([MENTION=8332]samyeung46[/MENTION] )[MENTION=27120]DavRoc777[/MENTION] and co –Leader([MENTION=28026]Selvaria Bles[/MENTION] ) And Leader (Mato) Know who is whos.
There is no theme for the contest so Don’t worry. You can do any theme you whould like!

This looks good. Some input, if I may?

- You may want to extend the deadlines - I'm not sure how many of our members actually have an interest in GFX (much like the SotM) and being an able judge who's expected to dish out unbiased and constructive criticism may not be that easy of a decision (especially prior to seeing the entries).

- The way you wrote the thread might make it a wee bit confusing. Perhaps you should make a point that to "edit a render to a background" and "give some effects" is basically equivalent to making an image piece like a forum signature. And by "watermark", you actually meant any kind of typography indicating the ownership of the image piece, right? As, imho, by its general perception having watermark on a well-made signature would ruin it.

- Is the use of Photoshop necessary, as opposed to making a good piece of graphic regardless of the editing software used?

- Don't hotlink images from Pixiv - kindly re-host your images on some free image hosting service like imgur.com and it'll be good to go. Please keep in mind that other points I made above are mere input; don't feel compelled and you're free to take or ignore them (except this one which is somewhat important).

Well I am changing them now if you notice throught I am more like fitghing with them and chould I know why Pixiv is not allowed? and I am just 12 years old>.< it took me 2 days to write this so respect my age and my grammar I am not English I know english just like 3 years or so

chould I know why Pixiv is not allowed?

It's not that we don't allow linking to Pixiv or anything. However, if you hotlink an image from Pixiv (that is directly copying an image link on Pixiv and posting said link in your forum post here), chances are Pixiv's servers will notice this and disallow it, which ends up on the image you hotlink not showing.

It's also good courtesy to respect other sites' bandwidth by not hotlinking their images. This applies to most sites with the obvious exception of free image hosting sites.

And I apologise if what I said imposed too much on you. Didn't mean to criticise your English; just a suggestion to make the description easier to understand. Didn't know you spent so much effort to have this up. Keep up the good work.

Aye, but Pixiv is an artist network and not a free image hosting service, lol.

There are plenty of free image hosting sites that you can use. Among those, I personally think imgur.com is currently the most convenient if you don't mind not having an account and album to keep your images in.

The design is very cute and I'm pretty crazy about nice artwork, so...

But I digress; if it's about making a signature and there's no close deadline, I may look into making something.
