Have you started the game once with sound, or is this your first start of the game?

If it's the first start, uninstall all Codecs (K-Lite, CCCP, ...) and then try another one ... I'm using CCCP, worked fine for me :)

If it's the second start and maybe you changed the sound settings, then simply delete "config.dat" from your game folder.

My original copy has not yet been sent.
For now,download this,when the my version arriver ( about 2 weeks),i take the savegame and reinstall my original copy and put the savegame into the game ^^

Deleting config.dat worked, but then I closed the game and reopened, and... No sound again. D:

Nevertheless, look in your game folder for a file called "config.dat". Because I also don't have a sound if there's this file in the game folder :D

Try to uninstall your game, delete the registration data (regedit.exe => HKEY_CURRENT_USER => Software => Overflow => SCHOOLDAYS HQ) and then install the game again.

If this doesn't help, sry, but I don't know :)

I'm using another method.

1. Open notepad
2. Copy and paste:

del /f Config.DAT
"SCHOOLDAYS HQ".exe

3. Save as anynameyouwant.bat
4. Open the game through the .bat file.

Disadvantage: Command Prompt window opens with the game. You can close it, though.

Do you play fullscreen? If yes, try window mode.

If no, uninstall your codecs (K-Lite, CCCP, ...) and download another one. I'm using CCCP, which works fine for me. This is only a suggestion, don't know if it's the true reason behind this problem.

No, only english sub and japanese dub.
