Hi @Eromaniac,

The older ones of the series are for other systems:

- Dragon Knight I and II are for the old japanese NEC computers (8801 and 9801), MSX, x68000 and PC-Engine.
- The third one was released on PC(MS-DOS platform) and x68000.
Note: The MS-DOS version had been officially translated to english by Megatech Software(they localised the first Power DoLLs strategic game from Kogado Studio, too), and renamed the name as Knights Of Xentar(Dragon Knight III) on the US.

Good to know, thank you very much for the intel. I found it weird to start a new series with the 4th episode, now I know why. I knew Knights of Xentar but I never thought it would be related to Dragon Knight, fascinating. I really love rpgs and I appreciate that you gave me a full explanation, rockleevk, you rock!:P

What kind of reaction is that? No I didn't and what's so surprising about it anyway? Don't WTF me!!! Not every country has the same culture and this game definitely never came out where I live. I already know that there's a bunch of oldies I missed just because they came out only in Japan or in America. Lucky for me, there's this site to make up for it and I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one in this position. Don't patronize me.

Rance is definitely more famous to me, maybe it's because the licence keeps on going (and it has way more episodes too).
