SUMMARY

In the near future.

In a not so distant place.

There exists a society where law is based upon deterrence and criminals are assigned "obligations" fitting for their crimes.

Within this society, a man named Morita Kenichi aspires to the position of Special High Class Individual, one who holds authority over said criminals.

For the purpose of fulfilling his ambition, Kenichi returns to the town he once called home. There he will encounter three girls bearing "obligations" and there he will encounter the past he left behind.

Just did numerous tests and could not reproduce the error. So we need some more information:

1. What OS do you use? 32bit or 64bit?
2. What are your language settings for non-unicode programs? Do you use AppLocale?
3. Is UAC active?
4. What did you do after extracting the archives?
5. Have you copied over the patch.xp3 and applied the NoDVD patch?

Oops, forgot the nodvd patch my bad. Thanks for the release by the way. It let me play for a bit without patching it then gave me this error.

After a long time searching and an even longer one downloading the game I found that the NoDVD included does not work. TLWiki does not provide a NoDVD of their own and they note at multiple points that the game is not fully translated, but that just one route is available.
Consider this upload scrapped until someone releases a fully translated version with a working NoDVD crack.

Did you use Applocale when you install this game ?
I use Applocale when I install the game , when open noDVD patch and when play the game
You might change the name of folder you have install to english

PS. I'm use Vista 32bit SP2

If I recall correctly you need to start the installer in AppLocale, let it run, then copy over the NoDVD patch.
