"Life"

This will be my first thread here on AS. I am considered a Dark writer, but I see it as me writing about what I see, and how I feel....And I don't see alot. I freewrite, so please do not expect to see a traditional based poem, and I welcome any critiques.

Anyways, thank you for reading.

I attempt to walk forward on this path,

But In the end,

As the sun sets on me,

My eyes are behind me,

Focused on the past instead.

Is it because I miss what I have lost,

Or is it because I am afraid of the pain the future might bring?"

Interesting, I like writing. Writing and music as expressions.

Only thing I can think of atm reading that is that I think, (to hard to write about but) Loss and past that is gone, already an agonizing and locked part of history seemingly set in stone, that brings its own special kind of sorrow, but with it, also perhaps a level of reflection. If that makes sense to anyone else but me....

Ok if I happen to write a poem or freewrite here as well ?

I meant this thread of yours yes ;) If I ever get up too it. Just wasn't sure if this was a place only for your own writings, and others critiques.

Well, perhaps relating to the topic name, something written by the poster works for me.
