Has anyone heard of the Manga? I thought it was worth posting about on this forum. Anyway here is the synopsis.

The story centers around a nine-member club of middle school boys called the Light Club, in their endeavor to create an AI in order to abduct beautiful girls. As the club uses increasingly depraved methods to reach their goal, the original leader, Tamiya, tries to reclaim his position after he becomes unhappy with the way the new leader, Zera, runs the club.

It's based off a play from the 80's in which that play was based off the gothic French plays called the Grand Guignol. The Manga is a guro and does contain some Yaoi, but it actually used as a plot device. It also has a mini anime out called Litchi DE Hikari Club. The Japanese rock band called Penecillin made a tribute album to the Manga with the band members dressed as the characters.

It is a pretty unique manga.
