I was planning to make a short story manga
Well, this is my concept art of the protagonist
The story set in the future where the monsters summoned by a mysterious scientist, he opened an ancient stargate which connecting the world of dark force with human world.

Haha, your character looks a bit like Kei Kurono from Gantz. I really liked the design of the weapons, you need to work with the expressions and the movement of the characters but still it's pretty good.
About the tablet thing, it's hard to learn how to use it, you need a lot of pulse, but when you know how to take advantage of it, it makes wonderful things so keep working on (:
