Will owning hentai be penalized in the US?

I just know that in the US "obscene virtual child porn" is criminal. It seems to me that many hentai manga or games here can fall into that category. I am not in the US, and I don't think they should be since they are fake.

So US guys here will you get into jail if these stuffs are found on your disk?

As long as they're not real, I think not, maybe some warning or fine, but going to jail is very extreme.
