  • Well, I guess that Bulbasaur is decent... I didn't like it in my Pokémon Red since it had to rely on Tackle and Vine Whip until lvl 27 when it finally learned Razor Leaf. 10 PP on Vine Whip felt like a kick to the groin :/

I don't mind Snivy because it learns Growth early so it can increase it's damage output and it also learns Coil which increases physical stats and it's an amazing ability to have combined with Leaf Blade that it learned right before. Oshawott is meh. Tepig is meh as well but I like its Flame Charge since it's physical, got 50 power (75 with stab) and also increases it's low Speed stat.

In yellow I didn't grab any of the 3 starters. I leveled up a Cloyster to level 99 and had a Nidoqueen at level 60-70 (can't remember). I also had a Hypno at around lvl 50. Pikachu got dumped into the box because that asshole only blocked my damn path... I like Fire and Poison type the most.

Because it's interesting to see the results of the fire. Yeah, I guess it counts as playing with fire :P I'm not that much into fireworks myself though xD

I guess that's the critical hit chance for players... Wanna try to figure out the critical hit chance for bots? I take my guess on 15% normally and 30% when you're low on hp and would die of a critical hit.

My most favorite pokemon has to be Crawdaunt. I loved him ever since I first saw him in Gen III. Now in Gen IV/V it also got Adaptability as a Hidden Ability which increases stab bonus from 1.5x to 2x. Imagine Crabhammer. It got 90 base power (180 instead of just 135 with stab bonus) and it also got a higher critical hit chance. Crawdaunt also got a high ammount of Attack to buff that up even more.
Oh, well I usually don't like Grass starters either. The only Grass starter I actually liked was the turtle in Pearl/Diamond/Platinum.

This time I took Oshawott. All other playthroughs have been with Tepig since I like it's final evolution :3

Well, that usually depends on which gyms that are at the beginning. Bulbasaur in Pokémon Red/Blue is overpowered against both Brock and Misty and it's also pretty decent against Lt. Surge since Electric doesn't work well against Grass :3 I usually prefer Fire though. It feels more offensive than Water and Grass. Compare Ember with Water Gun... what seems to logically hurt the most?

I'm also a bit of a pyromaniac since I like to burn pencils and stuff. I'm not the kind of person who would burn buildings >_>

EDIT: Also can you give an explanation to this. My Oshawott is lvl 15 and have already died 3 times because of critical hits. How the flying shit can all 3 critical hits have been dealt by god damn overpowered Lillipups? Next time a damn Lillipup 1HKO my Oshawott I'll buy 50 X Defend and 40 Potions...
Yup, it had more Attack than what I thought :/

Covet have always been a favorite move for me even when it only had 40 base power instead of 60 base power (without Normal stab bonus) mainly because it got ton of PP and was my #1 move to lvl up with :/ Less runs to the pokemon center...

I only use Tail Slap because of the Normal stab bonus though :/ So I guess that I got no interest in other moves. But I also guess that it's because I prefer to have many different pokemon instead of 1 pokemon that's good against everything xD I'm not playing PvP so I don't really need that ^^
I never saw Cinccino as overpowered until I realized the power of Skill Link + Tail Slap :/

Covet also appears to be overpowered. Normal stab bonus gives it 90 base power to a move with 40 PP, 100% accuracy and a secondary effect.
Well I throw an idea out there, and people were like.
"That sounds like fun" and I was sitting there thinking... "Oh Crap"
Then I won, can't lie I was oddly happy.
But I got finals around the corner, so I've been busy between the two

And of course there's always time for ASF :P
FUfufuu... we are in the same boat... *highfivee

    KAWAIIIIIIII,,,,,,,,,
『Its really my first self-made siggy ever ;p If it wasn't I wouldn't have asked you so many questions...』
    『Thanks, I like it as well ^_^』
    I'm doing really well :fulfilled:
Yeah school has been getting in the way of things.
Not to mention I'm now hosting the mafia 5 game :XD:
I really don't have the time for it, but I'm making time :P.
I'm glad you stopped by, it's been way to long.
How about yourself, how have you been?
『Its done. Big thanks for all your help ;p』

    『Btw, I'm using Photoshop CS5 like you recommended before...』
『Okay, thanks, I found a few fractal renders that I want to try using... I also created a form for the background (rectangle) and filled it with needed color... So, how do I... combine them?』
『Okay, thanks. I'll try it out once I play Neptunia V for a bit... If I succeed, result will be in my siggy ;p』
『Nee, Unown, what do you use to create backgrounds for siggies and how do you do that? I already rendered the images for siggy, but I don't know how to create a background >_<』
your PM was full so i'm doing a VM

thanks. the problem with the hair is, i need to recreate every missing curve so it gets aligned with the next part of the hair. what i might do for the hair, is make the outline very bold, and trim parts of it off, to make it easier to tell how it's getting rounded off. that's what i did with her leg. a lot of the legs outline was missing, they don't have as much of a turn though. it could still make it easier, if only a little.

the leg shouldn't be too difficult. i haven't been using photoshop though. i've been using Gimp 2. it's easier for me to zoom in & out on my laptop. i can still try it on photoshop. i'll try out that contrasting tip. i'll definitely save the picture before i try that though lol.

i think this would be a lot easier if i was the art type lol

i can't believe you're gonna make me make a sig first lol. i have no idea what kind of background i'm gonna give her. i'll probably try giving it the same look it had before i cut the original background out. it would have just been way to much work if i worked on the background too lol
Haisai, sorry for the late reply.

Yeah, I agree. Besides, without having obstacles, you can't really determine if someone is really for you or not.
Well aren't you a happy guy!

No problem, enjoy. Samurott is the best among the three if you ask me. Emboar has high attack and HP but is very slow and its defences are like glass. Serperior is only good at speed; defences are mediocre at best and attacks are subpar. Not to mention it doesn't learn many moves outside Grass- and Normal-type.

Yeah, quite a lot of changes. Level-based movesets also changed and there are more move tutors. As for Cobalion/Virizion/Terakion, if I'm not mistaken you'll lose your chance to get them before League only if you defeat them (as opposed to catching) on your first encounter. They'll retreat somewhere and only reappear after League or something like that.

Ahaha, yeah, when Pinky said she'd create the SOTM I thought to hype it up a little and participate myself. Got busy afterwards and kinda lazy to participate nowadays :p Haven't touched Photoshop in a while too lol
