Hmm..
The characters itself is kinda small compared to the background. The right side looks way to empty.
You can try to either resize the background and make it a bit smaller or resize the character to get it to cover more of the background.
Adding something to the right side can fix it too.
As for the character, the edges are the slightest bit choppy. How about softening those up a bit?

Sorry for the late reply but I've been really busy these days and I will be for a couple of more..
Anyway about that box thing you meant. You mean the Light green 'bar' your name is placed on?
If yes, this is how you do it:
1. Make sure the following button is selected.
2. Click and drag to create desired shape
3. When you have your shape do a right-click on your mouse and a drop menu shoud appear.
4. Choose the 'Fill' option and from the little window that pops up, select the 'color' option.
5. Pick any desired color and press Ok
(If in any case you want to resize it, pres Ctrl + T)
