  • Hi suicune! Sorry for not replying. I was busy. Really thank you for your kind words. :) I hope you will enjoy these games! I personally really like older PC otome games!
    Hello, suicune
You had better not to post reply to Visitor message in your own "Visitor messages page". Post reply to "Poster's Visitor messages page" (for instance, you had better to post reply in kittysim's Visitor messages page). You can see the button "View Conversation" at the right side of kittysim's VM (or this VM of mine). Click this "View Conversation", then you can open "conversation page" where kittysim's VMs are, and also there is "message Window (Box)". Write reply in this message Box, then click "Post". Your reply will be posted in kittysim's VM page. In principle, Visitor posts their message in "Your Visitor Messages page" (you are host of your own page, not a visitor of your page). When someone posts VM in your message page, then your reply had better to be posted in that someone's VM page. Regards, mrd.
No no, don't be sorry! You helped me out with the other games! I really appreciate it, and just trying to help is nice ^.^ Yeah, MEGA does suck. It's fast, but with games, you quickly reach the download cap and yeah, they don't always download properly. I think Google Drive is probably the best.
I'm glad that you found a solution for both games. Sorry I wasn't much of a help. I'm sorry, I feel bad. Not only I didn't help but I also gave you wrong advices. For Asuka game you probably ended up with an incomplete download, I was willing to upload only the exe file but it seems everything was messed up. Mega sucks, so many people had incomplete downloads here.
Dare ni Demo is working! For some reason the installer didn't copy over the GAMEDATA folder (just a folder called SAVEDATA), so I had to manually copy the files from the virtual image to my Program Files, and then patch it. Phew! Thanks so much for your help!
Well, uninstalling and redownloading and reinstalling did fix Asuka, though. I didn't get your message until after I'd already started the process. As for Dare ni Demo, it seems it never fully installed either. I had to use IOBit to remove what was there.
From what I remember the patch fixes the problem. Don't reinstall yet. Go to anri.at.ua download only the noDVD patch, copy and replace and if the problem insists then reinstall.
As for Asuka game, don't reinstall. The exe file is not related to the installation process.
Hmm, I don't know if I copied the noDVD patch. I did it for one game, but I can't remember... >.<;; I'll uninstall the two Dare ni Demo games and do a fresh installation with a fresh patch. As for Asuka, my file is the same size, so I think maybe the installation was corrupted. I'm going to also reinstall this one, and redownload just to be on the safe side.

    Alright, time for troubleshooting! :boys_yes:
I checked both games. They work for me. I was wrong about Dare ni demo game, it uses the real live engine that is compatible with windows 10. I thought it used the kiri kiri engine. Did you copy the noDVD patch?
For the other game Asuka, the exe file in properties has this size: 3,78 MB (3.969.025 byte). It is the same for you? If it is the same size it is not corrupted and something else is wrong.
Of course ^.^ You've been nothing short of a friend in helping me to play these games. And cool, I have absolutely no idea what's going on... I might end up re-downloading Asuka! (the one with the file that won't transfer) and see if maybe the download was corrupted the first time? I dunno. But yeah, Dare ni Demo is also out of my reach, and I can see it being a compatibility issue. It's just weird that games even older than it, like Love Drops, are working totally fine. O_o
Thank you for the friend request! :) I will download the first two games to see what is going and reply to you. For the 1st one I'm guessing it is a windows 10 issue but for the 2nd is not a good sign that it can't be unlocked.
You're so super helpful, I can't ask for a better friend in the otome scene right now ^.^
1.) No, I did it the same way it was done in the second post, so it should be all good. And I keep my settings at Japanese 24/7, so I haven't made any changes recently.
2.) It still won't move the file. The program was going to attempt it upon a reboot, but it failed. I don't know what the heck is the matter, at this point.
3.) No, that makes sense. I usually use Daemon, but let me try it exactly like that. Let me try again. ...It worked! I carefully ejected the first disc and mounted the second one exactly where the first had been. Thank you so much!! I really wanted to check this one out, too...
Did you use this method to change the system locale? I used to make the mistake mentioned in the 1st post.

For the other game that you can't transfer the exe file, I'm thinking that maybe your antivirus is blocking it. If this isn't the case check this program that unlocks files.

Now for Love Drops. I came across to a similar problem. I used Daemon Tools Lite and mounted the 2nd disc to the same virtual drive that I mounted the 1st disc before. I don't know if I make any sense. Maybe there's some compatibility issues with the virtual drive programs.

For now check these things and ask me again if you still have problems and I will see if we can do something.
Lol, thank you so much for continuing to try and help me ^.^ I appreciate it~ Ah, I use Windows 10, so it may be that, then >.< Let me try the fandisc real quick... Yup, same problem. It installs just fine, but then as soon as I start it up, "Japan only". *sigh* Oh well, it seems I have to wait for a patch or something, huh?
You're welcome! :) About the problem that you have with Dare ni Demo Ura ga Aru, I want to ask what windows are you using? Also, do you only have problem with this game or with the fandisc of the game too? I think the game uses an engine that is incompatible with windows 10 but I'm not sure I have to download it to check it.
Hi suicune! Use ALZip to extract the double score game. I already replied to you but my posts are being moderated and it will take a lot of time before moderators approve them. I hope you don't mind that I used this method to reply to you.
