Using Windows 8 and the Codec Tweak Tool does the job just fine. I see no hassle for disabling the LAV filter when you play the game then re-enabling it when you're done. That's up to you to remember, of course. -

Fav Tales game and why? (for those who liked them)
I've only played Tales of Phantasia, Symphonia, and Vesperia. My favourite Tales game would have to go to Vesperia. I really enjoyed the new combat system and the free-roaming mechanic. I beat it on the 360 a couple years ago and just recently picked it back up on the PS3. My Japanese knowledge...
