Nope you cant you can at best hope that char has a hp heal after each turn and i am not sure but maybe there will be a ring with this skill tho i woudnt bet so best option is to have two healers.

I dont remember what exactly did i done before that but between it throws you out and when you actually can enter i made few quest items (chest) and did all the side quests/instances. Are you done with the volcano? Check all the instances if there isnt a new one that you didnt entered yet.

Make items that have icon of the chest (they are the first to show up when you are constructing new items).
