The drama is set five years after the events in Borderless. Mori Nao (Morita Hikaru), Katayama Kiri (Saito Kyoko), and Ichihara Kotone (Kobayashi Yui) have moved on to live independent lives, until one day, a novel written by Kiri was published under the name of a popular young actress, Mase Kanna (Ito Riria). While Kiri disapproves, she is unable to go against it.
