Today (24.8.6) marks the 67th anniversary of the first time an atomic weapon has been used on a civillian population,
a population lied to and policed, made to believe they were gloriously winning while cities, not only theirs, were burning, and whilst people across the world fell.
Decades later we have seen an economic miracle, the tide has suddenly turned, a country that has started being levelled from ashes, has risen to become one of the most developed countries on the planet.
Heisei 23, 3.11 - quake, tsunami & meltdown; volunteers, relief workers, SDF, Yakuza doing dirty work. Kan administration demoralized and inept, keeping the Yen strong, while the people revolt before they fall ill.
... As a race haven't learnt our lessons, decades later we're still fighting over flags, land, religion and what more. Why are we still going back to the beginning?
Have a peaceful peace day y'all, one love♥
