Every time I try and click on xf0225.exe, I always see the error message "xf0225.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience"

The error module is always ntdll.dll.

I have tested my directx and it doesn't have any problems...

There is no errors during the installation and I can run both "設定ダイアログ.bat" and "起動設定を有効にして起動.bat" but no matter how I change the setting, I cannot run the game ><

When I check the logs in Event Viewer, every time this program crashes, the event ID is always 1000...

Does anyone know how to fix this ><

I can run the game however right at the first animation it crashes with that same error you get, glad im not the only one, on the bright side the game works , I tried it in windows xp and it plays fine so I just skipped the problematic part and copied the save back to my pc, it must need a patch for windowws 7 x64+

You're lucky to be able to at least get the game started...

I cannot even get the game to start. I'm using XP PRO SP3 32 bit...

What makes me do not understand is that I was able to install the included bonus "Kuon no Kizuna" and ran it without any problems...

For anyone who is able to run it in XP 32bit ; could you upload the following files : xf0225.exe, Xuse_Inst.exe, 設定ダイアログ.bat and 起動設定を有効にして起動.bat from your installation folder here ? Thanks !

Had mine working fine on Win7 x64, managed to get 2 endings and haven't encountered any form of problems with my numerous attempts at playing the game ........................... Either I'm the only 1 around or maybe all of you got some corrupted files and/or missing since the ntdll.dll file is in Windows/system32 and Windows/SysWOW64, among other paths.

PS : Walkthrough doesn't help much ..... gonna need a savefile plz
PS2 : It seems the guy updated it a bit and helps with more endings, gotta try it out later on

There's a save on sagaoz, didn't test it yet. As for the walkthrough there's some problem, there's one time where it tells you to choose C but there's only A or B (and I'm quite sure I followed everything carefully).

Edit : fuuuu, didn't see the second page...

And what about the other game that come with it (there's two folders in ...\Xuse)?

yup icheck it i dont have ntdll can you up load yours?

Can't really do that, ntdll.dll is a Windows core file in at least 24 folders on my computer..... Even if you had it, you'd have to find all the places it needs to be to make the game work, which I don't know and I'm not even trying to figure out how or why your Windows is missing it in the 1st place.

Error in ntdll happen because the program call a function from ntdll and that function crash;
doesn't mean that ntdll is defective, just why it crash?
Possible causes are that the program passed bad information while calling a function of ntdll or ntdll get bad information from samewhere else.

So i'm telling to not focus to ntdll itself but samething other, however i have no idea on where to point you; i even don't know what function crashed and sometime the function name tell same info about the problem and sometime not.

just another note on when you use a 64bit operating system: usually are not useful, usually prevent you doing errors.
system32 contain 64bit files drivers and dll,
syswow64 contain 32bit files and dll; same dlls are wrappers that convert 32bit request to the 64bit dlls, think for example to open a file from a 32bit application.

and now the trick: 32bit applications that open system32 are transparently redirected to syswow64 and will never see the content of the real system32 folder.
If you need to access to the real system32 folder with a 3bit program like totalcommand32 you need to create a folder with the name SysNative; 32bit programs accessing SysNative will read 64bit files from the real system32 folder; 64bit programs accessing SysNative will see an empty folder.

Traced it down to a codec conflict issue, if you have any codec packs installed make sure you fully uninstall them.

(my conflict was with sonic stage, openmg)
