Forward: Up key

Stage 2 Walkthrough on the Boss Area:

On the Left Side
The lion on the block pillar can be hit, if you get behind it and stay close to the left corner of the pillar.
Once you hear the arrow shoot, step backwards to avoid the shooter's arrow behind you.

The other one is on the stairs. In front of it there is a Greek texture similar to a "snail shell".
Stand between the 1st and the 2nd shell to the right corner and jump, once they shoot the arrows, step backwards to fall and the arrow should hit the lion.

On the Right Side
The lion's pillar can be hit the same as on the left side.

The next lion is similar to snail shells method, but now you need to climb the part with red carpet in it.
