Implemented About a new member class badge question.

Well, hello Admins/Mods!

I write this thread, because SB and I did we discussed about a possible new kind of badge, where for SB like members (SB, Unown-kun, Neko etc.) perfect would. - I meant a badge for Siggy/Ava-maker - the badge description would maybe so sound "ASF GS member": The "GS" stands for "Graphic Staff". The design of the badge can with the closest tool for a Siggy/Ava-maker oriented will, the digital pad with a cute girl head - but the badge would animated be, what a refreshing would.


Well, I'll still about that with SB consult, but I'm now interested, what you Admins/Mods about that think, okay?

Notice: Well, sorry if I at the prefix environment for this thread maybe wrong given have, but could me again decide in which prefix give should: In suggestion or in question - Because that has all both attitude.

I was alerted to this in the LPW, which I've replied here:

[MENTION=28026]Selvaria Bles[/MENTION]; and whoever else this may concern, if I get this right (and this is partly guesswork as the post you mentioned me in doesn't contain the question itself), you're asking if people who do graphics requests can have their own member tag/badge.

I'm afraid that's not going to happen for the time being. If we create a special usergroup for such people, that means we will also bequeath responsibility along with the specialised badge. And serving graphics requests, in my view, does not enslave you enough infer enough duty to warrant a specialised badge. If we do have such a group in the future, the people in it will have to answer to me and Checkmate as the designers in the staff and will likely have more responsibilities than just serving graphics requests.

It's not an implausible idea, and we do have plans to advance the interests of the site's graphics junkies, but it's part of our long-planned revamp which sadly we haven't had enough time to put enough efforts working on.
