He tried to flag the owner down but the guy kept going. So he browsed the playlists.
The player had a hypnosis app of some kind in it.

If hypnosis were a thing, Kawamoto would totally use it on Rie.
In fact, thought he didn't really believe it'd work, he was too obsessed not to try.

■あらすじ
川本浩之が通う学校には憧れの先輩、光谷理栄がいる。
同級生や後輩にも好かれる彼女は根暗な自分にも優しく接してくれたことがあり、川本は密かに好意を持っていた。

ある日の放課後、帰り道を一人で歩いていると男と連れ立って歩く理栄の姿を見かける。
雑踏に紛れて行く二人を見送る事しかできなかった川本は、理栄が男と付き合っていることに対して怒りを持つ。

後日、どうにか先輩を自分のものにできないか悩んでいると
前を歩くさえない男のバッグから催眠音源が入ったMP3プレイヤーを落ちるところを見かける。

声をかけたがそのまま立ち去ってしまい、どうしようかと中をのぞいて見ると
中のテキストに催眠音源の使用方法が書いてあり、これを使えば理恵を意のままにできるのではないかと考える。
半信半疑ながらも掴んだ機会を活かすため、川本は行動に移していった。
