ある日、“ソフィア姫”はお付きの騎士である主人公に打ち明けた。
いずれは国を治めるべき自分は、こんなにも無知で未経験で世間知らずでよいのか、と。
姫の不安を主人公から伝え聞いた王は、姫に身分を隠し一般の民衆と同じように働くことを命じる。
その働き場所とは……なんと、幼稚園。
主人公は、陰ながらソフィアを護衛するため、王より同じようにその幼稚園で、代理の園長を務めることを言い渡される。
ソフィアの見たことない世界、ソフィアの経験したことのない世界。
何もかもが新しい、幼稚園での生活が始まるのだった……。
