Read through the manga, its a good show. Not much spoilers from me though, except their blood manipulation is not really as cool as you think. Its the story and characters behind it. I dont really like how manglobe animates it, and they did cut out some important early parts. Well, theres definitely a season 2 beckoning somewhere later.

She looks a lot prettier in the anime for the first part, but her personality is....
