As you all know (because we tell you a lot), ASF has experienced tremendous growth in the last year. At the beginning the non-DL sections were more of added bonus, but now they've become powerhouses in their own right. Thus we came to a point, were the few sections created way back then are no longer enough to appeal to everyone and a restructuring was in order. So we hired a bunch of forum elves (don't ask) to quickly do the work, set up new sections, and move threads to the new places. After that we left the elves alone with Checkmate and haven't heard from them ever since. I guess it's best not to ask about that either.
Anyway, here are the changes and our reasons for implementing them:

Anyway, here are the changes and our reasons for implementing them:
- "Debates & Serious Discussions" and "General Discussions" have been merged. There never was that clear a line separating them, so it seemed logical to merge them. Besides, neither was that active on its own, but together they should be more than able to withstand the tests of time.
- "Forum Games" section created as subforum for the "Spam" area. Since we merged the normal talking forums, we had a bit of a vacuum for the less serious threads. Too avoid them being buried by the various games, we created a new section for them. LPWs will remain in the main forum because they are more conversations than games. There also has been talk about disabling post count in the "Forum Games" subsection, but no such thing has been done yet.
- Minor decorative changes. Forums got renamed and descriptions changed. I was "in the zone" or something like that.
- "Pure and Innocent Room" created. The big change - a section for
pervertspeople like Checkmatepure and innocent persons wanting to talk about pure and innocent stuff. I know that you know what I mean. - "Ecchi Corner" will be the new section for all 18+ discussions and conversations.
- "Picture Corner" will be the new home of a couple threads currently residing in the "Spam" forum. And also give people an easy to find place for similar material.
- "Eroge Corner" is more of a must - the forum was created because of Checkmate's pure and innocent like of eroge. A no-brainer.
- "Hentai Corner" is more directed to discussing actual works of, err, art than general pervert stuff and should fare well.
- "Fetish Corner" was briefly planned to be split in several sections, but there isn't enough activity in that direction just now. Maybe we'll split it up later, but that has yet to be seen.
