Summary​

In order to avoid Earth's impending destruction from an asteroid, the International Solarsystem Development Agency (ISDA) works on the "D-Project", and creates dragons after finding a dragon egg under the ocean. However, they soon find out that the asteroid is not their only threat, as powerful dragon-like creatures appear on Earth. After witnessing a murder by one of the creatures, Jin Kamishina gets involved in the mysteries of the dragons and becomes a dragon pilot, otherwise known as a "Dragonaut". Helping him on his journey is Toa, a mysterious girl who saves him from falling to his death after the creature attacks him. As they delve deeper into the mysteries of the dragons, they encounter new friends and enemies, and also begin to develop a closer relationship.

Can't get the subs to work in MPC-HC (+k-lite), WMP11 (+k-lite), XBMC, VLC, GOM
Something is broken, also they show up as 4 subtitles in some applications, 2x english 2x japanese.

See the Files Information or see the screencaps, they have 4 subs: 2 ENG | 2 JAP.
and work fine here as u can see in Screencaps i provide. try to re-install your codec.
Installing too much codec only make u got error when playing several files.

(Optional) and try using Haali Media as u renderer output, so u can easily choose the subs.

I am using Haali, (k-lite is a very good codec pack similar to but superior to CCCP that contains a variety of codecs and splitters managed to not conflict with each other etc), VLC, GOM and XBMC are self contained and aren't affected by codec packs, hence why I tried in them though I generally don't.

Correction: I messed around with it some more, and there are indeed subtitles in there, but they're mislabeled/broken.

The first "Japanese" subtitle Haali lists is actually English, and looks fairly nice, the second "Japanese subtitle" is also English, but looks very blocky (like an unstyled DVD subtitle) both "English" options give me nothing, I assume they're actually Japanese and doesn't render for some reason, I might be missing Japanese fonts etc, though I've had japanese subtitles work in the past (don't use them but have encountered them)

Im using K-lite too, but i can't say K-lite superior than CCCP, is depending on ppl who use it.. some like K-lite and some choose CCCP. See.. there's 4 Sub inside, you could see more info @AniDB. well I didn't know ur trouble exactly, because is work fine here.. and i'll share this series in many others place to, and got no words about subs. and the group who subs is already know to all as the 1 of the best.. :)

Any other feedback, suggestion would be very welcome..
