Hey 1stDragon,
Thanks for the share but I am facing an issue. I unrared the main game first, then unrared the DLC in that game folder and overwrote the files as it asked. Ran the game with ＦＦ起動.exe

Now when I run the "Help" utility by clicking the second option it shows the new game's title just fine like here:

But when I actually start the game itself by clicking the first option, the title pops up as the old one. Here:

You see, without the "Again" word in it. The character gallery doesn't show the new characters either. Am I doing something wrong here? Am I suppose to beat the game with original characters to unlock the new ones? Or am I doing something wrong on a technical level? A bit of guidance would be appreciated.

I think that you have to copy all what's inside 上書きデータ into the ff folder.
And then you'll have the mention "again":


The problem is that the game complains when I want to play the "again" version that some files are missing (for example zako01.player).
Anyone knows what's going on?

You are indeed correct. After copying the contents of 上書きデータ separately into ff folder the newer version of the game did kick in. Unfortunately as you pointed out, the game does throw a fit right when it is about to start after the loading screen. Couple of Zako.player errors and then game crashes no matter if I use old or new characters. Though the silver lining is that I can access Character Gallery for the CG content which includes new ones as well. But yea, Mr. Dragon we could really use some advice on how to get the game working.

Ok thanks, the other lacking file is ゾブラ.player (zobura?), so I renamed zov.player into it, and it seems to work (no error).

Yes indeed thanks Dragon. The game started working fine until the 2nd stage. In the bar stage this error popped up:

The game still continued working but it wasn't long before it crashed. I think we might need a complete list of what needs to be renamed or a new dlc fixed patch. Either way, players have been discussing about the issues in the link below but the facts are almost fiction since different people are claiming different solutions.

Yes, as I said, the game runs, but I've a done a comparison with my setup (first and second game merged + suggested name change)
it lacks exactly the following files:

zako01.player zako02.player あずきな.player みるく.player みるく2.player ゆずきな.player アマゾネス.player サムライ.player ショタ.player ストッカー.player ストッカー02.player ゾブラ.player チェリー.player バニー.player バニー02.player パイン.player ベリー.player ボンゴラ02.player 坊主.player 拳法.player

So I think it will lack content overall.

How did you do the merging?

Just try and play the game. See if it has the new characters or if you get errors during game play. End the game. If I remember right it isn't much long. About half an hour or so. That will answer all the questions. My speed of 30kb/s will take 4 hours just to download.

OK, you need to switch to japanese local before extracting what's inside ファイナルファックAGAIN.zip.

When did you download the game? If it was more than 18 hours ago then you might have the old version and you need to re-download the new one. If after that then we might have a problem with the fixed version as well. My download still continues though so I can't say what is going on... =/
