Flyable Hearts Crash

I recently downloaded Flyable Hearts and applied the English patch. Although when I try to access the CG menu the game will crash and the game with crash some point at the beginning of the game. The English patch website has a hotfix for both problems. Although when I apply both it seems to not work. I even uninstalled and reinstalled the game. Can anyone help?

Did you download the font that is needed for it?
if not here is the file:
http://www.twoevils.org/files/fonts/MISCFS__.TTF
And put it into the Windows font folder.
