Got some problem installing Seinarukana . Please help me out.

Ive been playing EROGE games since i was a Highscool Student. Ive graduated college 2 years ago.
The problem is, ive played many eroge games, and installed some games without any problems(with some error on jap language in the first time playing eroge) Ive encountered a problem that i cant seem to solve. So i need ur elp guys. Theres an error on a game called "Seinarukana(English version)", I have downloaded this game 5 times now. I can extract the game with no problems(Ofc with no corruptions). I clicked install then wait for some time(8mins or so) and when in 65-80%(cant really measure the green bar) there an error came up called "Decrompression Error #7". This came up EVERYTIME i install the game or new downloaded game. Btw ive tried the magnet, torrent file, part by part download, MEGA download, Direct download. Still doesnt work, still wont install, still have the error and some have "Decompression error #2029". Also ive disabled the windows defender and antivirus. Btw i cant find some updated game of Seinarukana. If someone has some problems with this please help. I wont download the game again since my country is one of the SLOWEST internet in the world.

Hi Yuuriko,

There's a method, not guaranteed, but we can try it. But for me to help you help a little bit, i need at least to know which OS you're using, did you download an ISO file or Compressed Rar Archive? If you're using an ISO or an archive which software did you use to mount or to extract the files,where exactly did you downlaod it, etc.. You have to be a little more precise with your information. These error can depend on many things and can be corrected more or less if you give me more precision. I, myself, nor anyone here could help you without more precision.

Im using Utorrent and UCBrowser as downloading medium. Im using Windows 10. I didnt download a ISO file yet but ive tried RAR file and Part by part Rar files.

Thank you Yuuriko for your response. You have to understand that one of the files you downloaded is corrupted, either it's setup.exe or another file. We will try these two methods to try to install your game. If these two methods don't work, you have no choice but to redownload it.
You have two choices in your current situation:

We will try the first choice and see if it works, if it works, fine, else we have to use another method.

First choice:
You have to unrar your rar files with an unrar app like 7zip and NTLEA or any other applocale emulator, i think you know how to do it if you are playing visual novels,else just look it up it's easy to use. This is important, setting your windows to Japanese setting, etc.. isn't always enough. It's better to do it this way, because even if the files you see in the archive are not written in japanese, you cannot be always sure if by extracting them normally everything will be fine. There can be sometimes always hidden files which are written in japanese, so by extracting without using an applocale these files are not recognized by the setup.exe file and can cause various problems during the installation. Maybe it's not your case, but just i myself always as precaution i extract rar archives that way.

Once you have everything extracted, we have to counter the next problem which is Windows 10. Windows 10 is Microsoft's least stable OS out there. There are many programs or games out there which were running fine in Windows, XP, 7 or 8 and are now impossible to run with Windows 10 as they come. I know this because i, myself, i'm a software engineer and i had the same problems with one of my software that i developed three years ago, many people were complaining about it. I don't want to go on a rant about windows 10, but to explain it very simply: Most games will work fine, but if the game use some specific library, let's say for animation a special direct x library (let's say a special function for animation), there's a big chance that in windows 10 it won't work, especially older ones. There's a very big probability that's for this game it's the same issue, becaue i looked up 聖なるかな on vndb and saw that is was published before before 2010 (2007) to be more precise, so there's a big chance this will be an issue, even if you had no problem installing it.

1. So you have to right click Setup.exe and click properties.
2. Once the properties window is open you select the Compatibility tab, then check the box next to "Run this program in compatibility mode for:
3. Select Windows XP (Service Pack 3)
4. A little bit further down you select Run this program as an administrator.
5. You run setup.exe and hope it installs it.
6. If everything is installed, fine, else you have to go back on properties and select Windows Vista and redo the same.
7. You have to try until one of them works, so normally for you it will be Windows XP (Service Pack 3) to Windows 8.1

If that doesn't work come back to the forum and will we see if you need another way.
