Guides to Photoshop and Sig Making
The purpose of this thread will be to help you learn the basics of signature making and Photoshop. However, it will not teach you how to create a specific style as we don’t want to restrict everyone. I chose to include the following tutorials as they were what helped me learn how to make signatures.

What You Will Need:
- Photoshop
- Resources
- Your Creativity

Renders can be found on these sites:

Resources (e.g. C4D, backgrounds, textures.) on this site:

Wow, thanks Monmonpon! Quickly scrolled through it and it looks informative and useful. I'll save the actual reading to the weekend ;)

Nice share! I've only skimmed through them for now, but the tuts look both comprehensive and attractive, which sure will be more motivating to learn from. What I particularly like, though, is that they don't just spoonfeed quick ways to make a signature but also teach the basics as well as the theoretical concepts. The first tut is especially useful in understanding composition, because tastes matter just as much as skill.

On the topic of colours: I find it difficult to rely on Photoshop's colour palette as it doesn't have a round shape that could make it easier in creating harmonious transitions. If you've never used it, try out Adobe Color CC (sorry if this was mentioned in one of the tutorials; I haven't read them in detail). If you try Googling around, you can also find pre-arranged palettes for you to use, such as these. They're usually aimed more at web designers, but they can still help.

Made the thread sticky :)

Well, I'm a GIMP-user, but nevertheless, thanks Mon...^_^!

Thanks for stickying the thread, and for the feedback plus helpful suggestion! Appreciate it :fulfilled:

Would be useful when I get my ass off the procrastination floor again (not likely right now since I just threw up a new one hastily a few days ago).

Oh pretty cool. Skimmed through all of it and looked pretty good. Well explained and comprehensible for beginners ^^
Thanks Monmonpon; and Velenora;

Thank you for putting the time and effort together to make this! I find it helpful since most of the tutorials are grouped in one post. Again, thank you~ *bows*
I never made a decent signature before, but now I'm willing to try giving it some thought! :>

Hello, there seems to be something wrong with the file you uploaded. The game works fine, but it doesn't play music. I use dameon tools lite and prompt "unable to mount image. Cue sheet: line 1-file not accessible." Could you please re-upload it?
