Having Trouble Upzipping multiparter 7-zip (have succeeded before)

Hi all,

This is my first time posting here. I've had the pleasure of downloading many free contents on this site, for all of which I am eternally grateful.

Well I recently downloaded some game made by Littlewitch and uploaded by Biohrd called Mahou Shoujo something or another. The files were split into three parts, so I attempted to upload the first part as well as putting biohrd as the password like the thread said, but it didn't work. I've tried this for other games, and it has worked for me in the past (I use 7-zip). Meanwhile, I tried another alternative that actually worked for me before, which was to rename the extension as .001~.003 and combining them using 7-zip, but that didn't' work.

I've actually noticed that the first part has two data.bin files, one is probably the file stored in the first part while the other is to grab the data.bin file from the other parts perhaps? I don't know enough about this to say for sure, but the whole game is 2.56GB, and if it worked right, the file amount would match just fine. Is having two data.bin a normal thing?

Ultimately, I also got one of those pesky CRC errors that says I might have the wrong password? But other passwords don't even get to this stage. Am I just using a corrupted file?

If so... here goes another waiting 2 straight days :P

Please tell me if you guys might have a solution that might save me from *shiver* waiting!!! *thunder crashes*

File that come from 001.,002.,003. use Hjsplit because today the file hoster know what is .rar already and it delete for like piracy thing.Uploader must make trick to file hoster.I agree 7zip can extract 001. well.I want you try this first.

How to use:Open program>Select join>put 001. and click start.

Nope, it didn't work. The file didn't come originally in .001 format. It's a multiparter with 2 data.bin files that cannot be opened. I was wondering if there's a solution

Try to use WinRAR and copy password directly from web that the uploader post.If not success,use recovery record to fix archive and extract again.Please delete files that corrupt after repair already.

1. Have you tried contacting biohrd about the issue? Being his upload, he's prone to know best what format was used for packing and/or if there are issues with the password.

from my experience, i think some file corrupted, but which one is the problem.

since one uploader tend to use his/her own settings so don't change anything and if original package was .rar i think you can do recovery record.

reason why many of AS release using .rar was to avoid this kind of problem since .rar have recovery record and you can check the volume one by one if necessary
