I've been pretty heavy into Anime and Manga for about 6 years now. It never really occurred to me to play a visual novel until just recently. It turns out that I like them just as much if not more than Anime or manga. One thing about them though is that they are really long sometimes and a lot of the conversations in them can last a long time.
One particular title I played recently went on and on with useless fluff that had very little to do with the story. I finally just started to hit the skip button quite heavily trying to skip to the more important parts.
In Deardrops I rode the skip button pretty hard and I felt a little guilty about it. Like I was cheating or something.
I was wondering if you guys do this as well or if most people tough out or even enjoy the long draw out repetitious parts.
Thanks,
Jeffrey
