Help for this beginner!

I'm a beginner so I downloaded this game called Dracu-Riot! ( ドラクリオット！) which was the 6th game by Yuzusoft.
I think that I have installed it properly but 'Syntax Error" came out. I thought that I did not install the WM9Codec that came along it so I tried but I can't install that thing in my computer because of compatibility issues. Is that why I get "Syntax Error" for my game?

Ok, first of all, is your computer set up on japanese on control panel or are you using app locale? If the second, I couldn't install it in my lap so I can't help you there. If you have your local settings on japanese (which I believe is easier) you could do the following:
Unistall everything you have from the game and delete the carpet to make a clean instalation, you only need the iso file and that must be all (I have no checked for updates but it workwed great for me with just it), you mount the iso, and procced with the installation. And no, I didn't install any extra like the one you say. I suggest you to check your regional settings or maybe some updates, DirectX sometimes is a whore so better check it.
PS: I have windows 7 as well, to be clear in a virtual machine but it works great.
