How to properly translate games that uses the Kirikiri(KAG) engine

I've got lots of games I would like to translate but most of them uses the Kirikiri engine. I tried using Translator++ before but the tool seems to break the game I'm trying to translate more then anything else. Even more, Translator++ doesn't seem to be able to ''inject''/apply the finished translation correctly to those games, as they stay in Japanese even after the translation is applied. Maybe I'm doing something wrong with Translator++, I don't know.

Therefore, I would like to know how to properly translate/apply a translation to a Kirikiri game and what type of program/tool to use for it. I would greatly appreciate any type of help/tips from people that dabble with translating those types of games or even from more experience translator if possible :)

P.S: Sorry if there's grammatical errors, English isn't my native language.
