I see quite a few people still using (and worse still, paying for) a untrustworthy repack, so thought I'd give it a spin myself...

If you have trouble starting the game, run 'Koikatsu Registry Fixer.bat' and start the game once through the launcher (initsettings.exe/initsettings_english.exe)

This pack is made with a up2date base game as of 11.01.2019, along with the components listed in credits, all up2date as of the release date of this pack. Some extras have been included, but are either easily removable or are sorted into folders marked [OPTIONAL]. Enjoy!

To add shortcuts to your desktop of the launcher and the most important folders for the game, feel free to run '[BR] Create Desktop Icons.bat'.

I don't recommend just extracting this over another repack, due to potential conflicts. Please extract this to its own folder and move over your chara, cap, studio and save folders.

There has been no modification done to the vanilla game files, nor included any self-promoting graphics. Just the fully upgraded base game with what mods I see as essential, and a few utilities for good measure and some BGs I like. I've included the card for the girl in the poster in case anyone wants it, some illusion made scenes from the Japanese Illusion scene downloading site and a folder of optional clothing coordinates from the discord as a few bonuses for those interested. They're all clearly marked so you can safely delete these if you want.

There are two download options, Full for newcomers, Update for people that already have my R2.1 pack (So they don't have to download all of it over again). If you experience ANY problem after using the update pack, please use the full pack before reporting any problems.

I messed up a bit with the uncensor for males. In order to fix it, please apply this Hotfix: http://bit.ly/BRKoikatsu31h1. I'm really sorry for the inconvenience, I'll try to make sure this doesn't happen in the future.

Vanilla flavored BetterRepack

This time around, I have also uploaded the base game installation that I'm using for creating my repack, dubbed Vanilla flavored. I will not be creating update packs for these going forward. If I make changes to the base game (New updates or such), I'll simply upload a new one.​

Over the last few releases of my BetterRepack releases, I've been contacted by several users wishing to apply the HF-Patch to my repack. While this should work fine with the modded pack, it makes the included mods redundant, as the HF Patch is really feature rich for Koikatsu.

Let's have a little talk:

Let's start with a sec to explain my versioning.

Major versions (example: R3):
These versions are what I consider to be important updates. They contain new official updates, important fixes to mods and/or similar.

Minor versions (example: R3.1):
These versions are what I consider nice to have... new handy plugins, some new extras and some new mods.

You should still have a great experience with any of my previous packs, so if you don't feel like it, there's no pressure to upgrade, do so on your own phase, especially with minor versions like this.

And also, let's take a sec to talk about the way forward:
I've recently been spending a lot of time on PlayHome (As some of you might have noticed, I've practically moved into the help section of the Illusion Soft server recently). I started the repack the same day I released R3 of this repack, so I'm taking my time, ensuring that the game is as well tested and working as I can muster. I'm also going through translating all the chinese named mods so that the apparent quality hopefully comes off as a tad bit better than most other installations and am testing every single article of clothing added and all plugins. Thank you to all of you that've given me words of encouragement as I've been going through this rather long endeavour. I think I see the light in the end of the tunnel, so unless something wierd happens, release of that pack in imminent.
