This time around, I've been asking creator of the HF Patch for some advice while I've been getting my pack in order to make sure I'm not missing anything from that installer in my pack, so want to send a big thanks to ManlyMarco for helping me getting that in order.

This pack is made with a up2date base game as of 01.02.2019, along with the components listed in credits, all up2date as of the release date of this pack. Some extras have been included, but are either easily removable or are sorted into folders marked [OPTIONAL]. Enjoy!

To add shortcuts to your desktop of the launcher and the most important folders for the game, feel free to run '[BR] Create Desktop Icons.bat'.

[B]IF YOU'RE MOVING FROM ANOTHER REPACK:[/B]
I don't recommend just extracting this over another repack, due to potential conflicts. Please extract this to its own folder and move over your chara, cap, studio and save folders.

[B]WANT A VANILLA PACK?[/B]
If you wish to convert this pack into a vanilla pack, there is a included script named '[BR] Vanillify the game.bat' that gives you the following options:
 1. Remove only translation, leaving the rest of the mods intact
 2. Remove all BetterRapack Extras
 3. Remove VR
 4. Remove all BetterRepack Extras, mods, translation and VR
Feel free to use this script to customize your install, but keep in mind that using this may make the game incompatible with future repack updates, requiring you to download the next repack in full!

There has been no modification done to the vanilla game files, nor included any self-promoting graphics. Just the fully upgraded base game with what mods I see as essential, and a few utilities for good measure and some BGs I like. I've included the card for the girl in the poster in case anyone wants it, some illusion made scenes from the Japanese Illusion scene downloading site and a folder of optional clothing coordinates from the discord as a few bonuses for those interested. They're all clearly marked so you can safely delete these if you want.

There are two download options, Full for newcomers, Update for people that already have my R4 pack (So they don't have to download all of it over again). If you experience ANY problem after using the update pack, please use the full pack before reporting any problems.

As some of you have noticed, downloading content from the in-game downloader is quite the unstable experience. In order to offer multiple venues to aquire cards, I've acquired all available scene and card content on the official uploader (normaly only available from Japanese IPs) so that you may grab some of that content if you desire ;)

FAQ

When I try to download cards I get told the server is timing out/unavailable, or I only get a lot of question marks, did something break?

No, the server hosting the card downloader is out of my control, and it may be unstable or outright down at times. For new users that want to test some cards while the download server is unavailable, you should join the discord where there's a lot of cards available. If you're offline, I've included some cards submitted to me by great community creators that should tide you over for a while.

When I'm creating my character, it looks like it's censored... Is something broken?

From this version onward, you're able to select character specific uncensors in the Body menu in the character creator, so feel free to look at that. If you don't chose a unsencor, it'll use the default uncensor defined in the pack (LO for female, SoS for male) everywhere but studio.

I got a earlier version of BetterRepack, do I need to upgrade?

Short answer, no. You should have a great experience with any of my packs, but the newest pack will always have the newest mods and extras available at the time of release.... Lacking the newest mods may lead to incompatibilities with cards downloaded around the web (blank screen when walking a girl home, missing articles of clothing etc), so if you experience any problems with an older pack, please do try to upgrade.

R5 already? no R4.1?

As you can probably see in the update list above, there's a massive amount of mods that will be absolutely needed going forward, as such I decided to go straight to R5 to underline how important these updates are for the game going forward.

I want to update, but am unsure what version of the pack I'm running, how can I identify my version?

The header image of the release post is included with the pack and named according to the version it fits, and there's also the readme-file detailing your version. Please check those two. If you've deleted both identification may prove hard, so I'd reccomend you just download the full pack.
