Locale Emulator 2.4.1.0 Error

Hello, i'm currently using Locale Emulator build 2.4.1.0 (newest one according to Github) and it runs normally. Then after a couple days it won't open any game with run in Japanese and it said

my laptop currently using Edition
Windows 10 Pro
Version 20H2
Installed on ‎19/‎11/‎2020
OS build 19042.906
Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.551.0

Already tried uninstall, restart, safe mode, etc and it didn't work at all. I want to submit this to the creator github, but i don't know anything about github. If anyone here have a same issue or know a way to solve this issue is appreciated. Thank you in advance

Well, I'm not certain at all, but one thing that strike me looking at the error message is the path length.

You're nearly at 200 character (which is the limit window handle).

So the problem might be related to the long path folder name. You should try moving the game to something shorter and retry see if it solve the problem.

So, other thing you might try :

Try using forced admin.
Try lauching by drag & drop the exe on LE exe file and not right clicking.

Does other games work or all game fail to start using LE ?

What's your OS ?

If it stop working after a few day, maybe your AV removed some file (check the quarantine and / or add an exception to LE folder).
Check to make sure LE folder / exe aren't in "read only".

After that, I'll sugest posting a thread on the software site.

Ah, apparently it is my Windows Defender fault. It removes one file and it makes everything messed up. I just updated my windows to newest version and looks like some settings are changed. Thanks for the advices!
