With a story heading for the bad end, this is an adventure where the player uses correct reasoning and choices to "reveal the future".

Logical reasoning may lead one to the truth, or bring about unexpected developments.
What makes this title unique is the ability to "cut through" choices.
While the player can do it directly with a Windows 8 tablet, it is possible for the main protagonist to cut through choices with his saber, and reveal hidden choices that were not there before!
There might be steadfast choices or choices that cannot be cut without completing prerequisites, but there should be the feel of being able to decide fate with one's own power.

Story
Shintenjima, a lone island floating in the Pacific Ocean. A young man feels a connection, and head towards the island.
Based on his research, Shintenjima is known as the illusory island, and only rumours related to the occult are heard of.
In reality, it is a floating island in the sky that is not recognized as Japanese territory.
While to be expected, the island's claimants are unknown. Everything, from its inhabitants, to how life is run, is unknown.
Shintenjima - where everything is wrapped in mystery.
The young man only has one reason for heading to such a place.
His true identity too, is wrapped in mystery.
Once on the island, the young man is led to a place called Hourin House.
In it, the owner, the maid, and other lodgers just like him.
Among them there are even those of his generation...... What's more, they are all girls so cute the heart skips a beat.

This does seem like a rather interesting game. There seems to be more interactivity than just choosing to chase your favourite heroine, and it seems like some amount of neural activity is required as well. Definitely sounds more like a game than a book (maybe a game book?).
The only LOS games I've played are Diamic Days and Gaku Ou. My impression of their works is that they make a fairly interesting setting and to some extent, interesting characters too, but they tend to sacrifice the development of those two elements for moe and romance. Personally, it's a bit of a shame, but I'm still willing to play this game if I get to finish all of the upcoming releases I have my eyes on.
