I created a thread yesterday for releasing mods for a game. http://www.anime-sharing.com/forum/requests-releases-123/release-[real]itazura-gakuen-166848/
The thread went up immediately and I posted a mod.
Today I proceeded to make some edits to the first post. I wanted to add a link to the game's release thread. I created a bullet list and added the hotlink.
Once I saved the updates, the post disappeared with no warning or error message. The thread is still there but my initial post is gone.
I then recreated the post. When I saved the new post, I received a message that the post would have to be approved by a moderator.
Now there is a blank thread residing in the mod release section.
I have looked through the FAQ and the other threads posted in the help section of the site but I have not found any answers.
Is it normal for a post to disappear after edits have been made? Was it posting a link that caused it to be flagged for moderation? I'd like to know so that I can avoid this issue in the future.
Thanks,
- AK
Also, I had received a thank you for the post and I now wonder if that thank you is lost to cyberspace. :(
