Mouse Problem

So my computer mouse just "died' on me while in use, but the thing is that the mouse works on my old laptop. My old laptop runs on Windows Vista and the one I'm using runs on Windows 7.

The mouse was indeed working for a couple of hours on this laptop, but I don't know what happened. I'm sure the mouse isn't dead because, well, I tried it on my old laptop and it
works.

If it helps, my laptop is an Asus G73JH

Try using another USB bus on the PC. Keep in mind that there's two ports on each bus, usually it's the ones right beside each other.

Try looking at it with device manager. there might be some changes it's in the "other pointing devices". to make sure if it's really detected in your system.

Try updating the driver? Sometime W7 update kills certain thing >.< I hard that problem once, but I love my W7 Ultimate :D
