Yeah, this is what you want. The Windows 7 version of Muv-Luv in English, with all of the H content restored and none of that Steam DRM bullshit. No getting charged twice for the whole game because the assholes who licensed it decided they were too highbrow for hentai content when they damn well knew they were licensing an eroge. Fuck them.

For those who played the earlier translation, this version of Muv-Luv uses a newer engine, so it's pretty and has nice effects the way Muv-Luv Alternative does. You can also jump to Muv-Luv Unlimited without clearing Meiya and (that bitch) Sumika. Getting a few hours into it while it was uploading it would appear the translation has taken a hit in accuracy as well. :( Still worth playing for the new engine.

There is another considerable improvement I feel the need to point out. When you quit or if the game crashes, it will immediately bring you back to the line you were on when the program closed, without going through the menu and loading. I actually like this quite a bit.

Your attachment is coming back invalid so I don't know what your issue is. People have said it needs an x86 Microsoft Visual C++ runtime installed. If you get an error about a missing DLL this is probably the one you need:

I had the steam version but I just can't stand the censorship or the drm. I will definitely enjoy this now the way it was originally meant to be played. You're right. Fuck steam and the companies who think it's a good idea to make us pay big bucks for butchered version of a game. I can't stand this shit anymore and I wish more people would actually do something about this crisis the video game industry is facing nowadays. It is a real issue for both PC and console gamers.
