my beginning theory on the reason of life is that we are actually sub-cybernetically enhanced species created for the sole purpose of keeping the world in order so that when the squid-bears come back they can devour us and resume life on earth as normal what do u all think of this hypothetical proposition?

"What is the meaning of existence?" is a loaded question. It assumes that there must be one, which is not evidently true.

A more prudent question would be "Does life have a purpose?".

My position on the matter is that existence does not have an inherent purpose or meaning. We are the products of organic processes, which act in accordance with the laws of physics and chemistry. However, I do not consider this something to frown about. In the words of a friend, "I stepped out of a supernova... And so did you.". :3

Whether it is acceptable depends on your mindset. I care more for seeing reality as it is rather than reality as I would like it to be.

I could choose to believe that Haruhi-sama brought the universe into existence five microseconds ago, gave us the purpose of spreading happiness everywhere, fabricated all of our memories and then hope it is true, but there is no rational justification for such a belief.

my hypothetical may sound too much twisted so i won't say all of it

my hypothetical is that this world is living from deaths since it one of it corrupted rules, think about it, each day someone or "something" else are dies, whether it human, animal, microbe that you don't even know that you killed, they all die at some part of the world without even being notice, the world tried to make even more deaths by using what we call "evolution" and change most of the monkeys into humans, it expected them to kill more and more and more when the gunpowder was made, it expected them to kill as much as possible even for their selfish existence ( animals in that case), it expect them to blow up the planet even if it means it own death.

What it don't expected was that the medicine's technology and ability will reach to this extent which make less people die, what that will make it resort to nature's disasters such as earthquakes, tsunamis, typhoons and etc.

ah the murderous world theory! quite persuasive however i dont believe that it is the cause of natural disasters i believe that it is already dead as a effect of the humans having found ways to overcome it no the world isnt causing this its the two headed white snake that lives within it

i thought about it but since i made this with only the idea of BS ideas being put in i figured the spam thread was more suited....tho i cant help it if ppl start talkin seriously and that would be interesting in its own right so w/e
