FINALLY shared for the first time on the internet! Still can't believe the improved definitive version of the game never made its way onto the net until now.
I'm not 100% sure of everything that was added. The resolution is definitely higher. It's been awhile since I've played the original, but I think the voice samples have a higher bitrate. I've also read that more story was added to the game. Even though I'm only about 20 minutes into it, the Regular Edition feels more like it happens in the Majikoi universe than the original did to me. Maybe these higher-rez backgrounds were originally made for scenes in Majikoi and reused here.
Strangely there is all kinds of copy protection on the disc that prevents you from making a backup, but seemingly nothing prevents you from pirating the installed game. Way to go Minato Soft.

Description: Due to family troubles, Ren Uesugi and his sister, Mihato, leave their home. They end up moving to the city but find themselves with a lack of money. Somehow they are able to find work in the form of the Kuonji family's mansion, being employed as servants to the three sisters of the Kuonji family: Shinra, Miyu, and Yume. Being a servant also associates Ren with the mansion's additional servants and the Kuonji sisters' friends.

Put that file in the same directory as Kimiaru and run it. It should completely wipe out all copy protection forever. Also confirmed to work on Majikoi S. Possibly does the same to other other Minato Soft/Carnival games.
