While i loved Persona 3&4 because of the life simulation, meeting friends, working,studying, getting a girlfriend(or more than one hehe) , i always tought that the fighting part is really boring. Not because the fighting system itself is boring, its actually quite unique and more fun than tactical etc, but the dungeon crawler thingy kept me and many other people from having much fun at this part. The maps are just plain too long, walking 8-9-10 floors while doing nothing except finding the stairs. Its really annoying to always run around and depend on your luck to find the next stairs. The maps are randomized and are set up in strange and unfun ways.While this got little improved in Persona 4 because the dungeons always have a certain theme, it backfired that they added backtracking where you have to find keys in order to advance.
But the Persona 5 trailer , especially the "gameplay" trailer, really looks awesome! The dungeons look more impressive and have more interactive environment.
