Question about Clannad

Hello guys,
I have a question about Clannad, I watched the anime few weeks back and I really liked it. So I want to buy the visual novel, but i don't know if I should get it on PS3/Vita or PC(Steam)...
Are there any extras in the steam version? It came out later than on any other platform I think.. or is it identical and the only difference is that its translated to english?

EDIT: Yes, I know that it has HD Upgrade and Dangopedia, but I'm curious if it has any extra scenes or something like that...

Well, back to your question: Basically is the story and routes similar (except the Clannad - Tomoya's After Story spin-off game for the PC, because in the spin-off ver. has H-scenes) between the consoles, handheld and PC. Just that, like you already before mentioned have, is the graphic updated.

i highly doubt it has extra scenes. it's just a re-release of a 12 year old vn. i played the pc translation they had a couple years before steam decided to update it, and it was one of the very few cases where i liked the anime more.

P.S. one of the best VN's i ever went through was little busters. you should check it out

Eee... Yeah, like already from Infa and me mentioned: Between them doesn't give really difference, except with the spin-off game. And extras I don't think that it give, but you can quiet them try out and test.

Well its cheaper on steam actually, I think. There are two DLC's on the japanese PSN and those are in the "Side Stories" and the Tomoyo's after isn't even there so steam wins and gets my money :D

EDIT: Okay, so Tomoyo's After is actually on PSN as well. But I still go with Steam, You get the Side Stories on steam for 19.99€ while on PSN it costs over 40€ to get both those DLCs.

Yeah, Clannad got shortly after a spin-off/sequel VN game (what with the subtitle ...- Tomoya' After Story), but this times with H-scenes (sex scenes) content - the original was a All-age.

well the problem i had with the clannad vn was more because of the mechanics, not so much the story part. not to mention the anime had an emotional impact on me. even the little half an hour side story on if tomoya chose tomoyo instead.
