All release threads must adhere to the Forum Rules and Guidelines. New releases in this section must also have the following.

Minimum Required Elements

• Appropriate Prefix
• Official Title, Romaji: The transliteration or translation of the title.
• Studio, Groups: The producers or publishers of the game.
• A relevant link to the Product URL and/or VNDB.
• Release Date
• Must have a main box art or product artwork.
• Must include some screen captures or images that depict CG or gameplay. These can be sourced from the official product page or captured by users.
• Patch Installation Notes, if any
• Language and Translation Method (e.g., MTL type)

Optional Information:

• Description or a small synopsis of the game
• Genre / Lenght / Doujin Circle or Official
• Mosaic Censorship: Indicate if any content is censored. (Any content missing from the original product must be clearly stated.)
• Version and Change logs
• Anything else beneficial to the users

Above all, ensure that your thread is visually appealing and attractive to draw interest.

The only requirements for thread content are the Minimum Required Elements listed above, but it is recommened to also include the following:

1. The original kanji title or romaji title in the thread's title or tags.
2. The DLSite code, VNDB ID, and/or Nepchan ID in the thread's title or tags.
3. To host the cover and screenshots/CGs, consider https://iwtf.in or using attachments.

The requirements and recommendations for the thread title are as follows.

Format for the title:

[Prefix] [Language, if translation patch] [MTL, if used] [Circle/Company] Game Title with Translation or Romaji

titles without a DLSite code are valid, but it's advised to include the DLSite code for user convenience if it is a doujin title.

So, invalid titles need to be changed, whereas titles without DLSite codes can be considered valid but are strongly advised to include the DLSite code.

• Translation threads must include the patch language in brackets like: [English], [Spanish], [Chinese], [Russian]. This is not required for non-translation releases like restoration patches or compilation threads.
• If MTL was used, it should be included in the title. If MTL is omitted from the title, that implies that no MTL was used.
• If the original title is in Kanji or other ideagram languages, the title must include a transliterated romaji or translated English version of that title.
• VNDB and Nepchan IDs are also valid but DLSite codes are preferred. The ID/Code is the part of the URL that is unique.
