Hello I am hardcore gamer
Just a reminiscing of some of the greatest games the game industry ever made. I'm not mentioning Final fantasy because thats just all over the place you can mention it if you like, I'm sure there are billions more threads for those games but yeah they are cool too.
I am 34 age is getting to me and making me wonder about games help me remember some old school classics as far back as the power of the NES+?
Secret of Mana 1 - SNES- 100+ hours spent. This is a great game I bought this game imported, I didn't have converter so I went all the way back to the store same day to pick one up, these days Id be too lazy lol Its the only 3 player rpg I know of on the sNEs one of the coolest rpg's of all time.
Xenogears - PSX - 90+ hours spent. story telling was so deep its as if the guys wrote a holy bible on the whole game. I like it because its cool sprites, and rpg elements with great everything about it. Too bad though disk 2 beginning made me use a turbo pad lol
Chrono Trigger - SNES - 100+ hours spent. The coolest concept of a storyline mix with interesting characters great graphics for the time and more replay value than I anticipated.
Valkyrie Profile - PSX 130+ hours spent Tons of detailed cool characters, amazing special moves, great music one of my favourite types of rpg's next to star ocean games this game is worthy of an infinite amount of sequels.
Zelda 1 NES and 3 - SNES Zelda OCarina but it stops there no more decent zelda games after OCarina came out- When you play these when your young you get hooked on them guaranteed and they suck you into their world very addictive game said to cause delusions.
Super mario 1-2-3-4- SNES not as addictive as Zelda imo but for 2 player is fun for a long time. Especially super mario 3 I saw a movie called "The wizard" first time i ever saw Super mario 3 was in the movie after that I had to have the game. Nintendo that was an easy sales ploy. ¬_¬v lol
Saints row 2 -Xbox360- 300+ hours spent my favourite gangster style action game of all time has almost everything you could ever want in a 3rd person game, so much to do I ranked over 300 hours on that baby.
Brute Force - Xbox back in the day this was a Really cool action shootem up. and up to 4 players too good multiplayer gaming there, I find this game better than games like Halo2+ or Gears of war games, trust me the reason is each character in brute force has their own special ability, and they can switch characters on the fly command them and just mix the best strategy with good co-op features, and fun action till the end.
Sudeki- Xbox 80+ hours spent -Very nostalgic game that is greatly underestimated has old school rpg elements. Hardly any music in it but when it does come on its really really cool, and it makes you nostalgic even while you play.
Bullet witch - Xbox360- not many people liked this but I did why? well lets see its A/ got hot girl B/ has still the most epic in game destruction of all time to date nothing made has come close to a spell in this game called Meteor shower. which literally comes out the sky and destroys huge buildings causing city wide damage. Seriously no other game has beat it yet in terms of wide spread spell damage, and well yes there's the hot girl in costumes lol
Kameo- Xbox360- 100+ hours colourful game my niece loves this. and I love its Zelda like elements.
Star ocean 2 - PSX -400+ hours Probably my favourite type of RPG, great characters, deep storyline, cool special fx for back in the day that is, and overall a game worthy of top 10 games of all time. It has practically everything you want in an RPG mixed with an amazing sound track much like Valkyrie profile and cool storyline that surprises you when you least expect it.
The Last of us - 30+hours super cool gameplay amazing detail, nothing like I've seen since the old days when I used to love playing half life 1 on pc. Kept me addicted till i finished it, then I was hungry for more. Its so short its too sad.
Beyond 2 souls < this one has a great storyline but poor replay value and action gameplay but amazing realistic and curiously interesting story. Too short overall which is so sad it should have been twice its length minimum, its shorter than the last of us. Beyond 2 souls is a Game with some of the best Acting I've seen in a game.
I'm trying to figure out why on Earth I like very few games these days, and why games are declining over the years? With only few exceptions. So tell me what game or games why you like it and what's so good about it?
sorry for spelling or grammar I' grew up dyslexic using firefox underlines to help me spell sorry if i make any of you cry in nostalgic memories sorry >.< I can't list all my games I enjoyed over the years just some of them, feel free to share your own thoughts about the games or others I've not mentioned. Just curious to see other peoples point of view.
edit: forgot to mention you can just impart your knowledge onto us if you like about anything game related question you have too, maybe one of us can answer it.
