Bumping a truly ancient thread; six years ago and no one was able to repost this. Needless to say, all links are dead except maybe Rapidgator, but not having a premium membership I can't say.

My friend... you don't need RG Premium HAHA.
This post is gonna be a bit long but endure it & this will CHANGE YOUR downloading life entirely.
All you need to do is download "JDownloader and install it. [
Make sure you download it directly from the JDownloader site when doing so]
After you install it run the JDownloader applications .exe and make/sign into a your new account...
[This is done by selecting the "Settings" Toolbar, then selecting the "MyJDownloader" option from the Settings drop down menu. Alternatively, you can also just press "CTRL+M" ON YOUR keyboard to Quick Access the MyJDownloader settings panel]
Once that is done... click on "Settings" from the top Toolbar again, then select "Settings from the corresponding drop down menu.
[Alternatively, you can use "CTRL+P" to Quick Access this settings panel]
From the settings pop-up menu, look through the various settings sub-menu's running down the left hand side of the settings pop-up menu. Then click on "Account Manager".
[It should be the 4th option down and represented as an icon depicting a computer monitor with a padlock on the screen.]
In the Accounts Manager you now want to tick the checkmark box for "Use Account(s) to download". Then click the button near the bottom of the window with a blue + symbol that says "Add". This will then pop up a window with a TON of file hosting sites listed for you to enable as JDownloader plugins.
From the list of hosting sites, select RapidGator (or any other hosting site you download from regularly). At the bottom of this pop up window you can enter your username/email & password for whichever file hosting site you are currently adding to JDownloader.
Once you've entered your Username/Email/Password for aforementioned site you will hit "Save". This will verify the Username/Email/Password combination you entered & if your account credentials are correct it'll have now added the plugin for said file hosting site.
at that point you can grab ANY RapidGator URL (so long as the file hasn't been deleted) and copy it. Then go over to JDownloader, click the tab for "LinkGrabber", right click anywhere in the empty space inside the box for LinkGrabber, and finally hit "Paste Link" from the Right-Click popup menu. it'll automatically add the RG download link (or the link from whatever site you linked to) as a folder with the download name & upload health o f said link.
Then just right click the little folder icon that was generated by pasting the link & click the top option which is "Start All Downloads".
It will then bypass the slow free member download speed of 2Mbits per second and by default download from the "High Speed" link option that is Normally restricted to only paid accounts. it can even give access to premium members only links without you having to do anything more than just copying the URL link of the page you land on with the download speed options.
No paid membership, no waiting "X" minutes for download countdown timers, none of it...
I obviously wouldn't go through the extra steps when downloading from quality hosting sites that don't restrict your speeds without a paid membership... (MegaUpload, MediaFire, Google Drive, PixelDrain, etc.)....
But it is ESSENTIAL for sites like RapidGator, 1Fichier, DepositFiles, FlorenFile, K2S, KatFiles, TezFiles, Turnout, etc.
All you have to do is use a free account for any of the sites listed on the plugins screen and it'll let you bypass the timers, bypass "Premium" requirements, and grab the high speed download link all at the same time.
if a file is split into multiple .zip/.rar files, you can even combine all the links for each part into a single container under the LinkGrabber tab, and when you select "Start Downloads", not only will it download every part at highspeed simultaneously, but it'll also recombine & extract all individual parts back into a single directory for you at the end of the downloading step, & then automatically remove the download links from your LinkGrab er tab AND the .zip/.rar portioned files so you don't have to.
try it out... you won't regret it!
