does anybody know of an chrome extension or additional software that will force audio to play louder.

Its happening again…the ads on porn sites of cam girl sites have gotten 40-60 percent loader in my headphones, and the actual content on sites like pornhub have gotten 50-70 percent quieter.

some youtube vids seem to be a but quieter as well, despite most of the other youtube vids not effected. turning off stable audio just makes all of youtube vids quieter. So I'm guessing any vid that has less compatibility with youtube's newer stable audio, will have its audio nerfed.

please for the love of god, does anybody have an overright method to the extreeme audio nerf plaiging the web? while my laptop says it it at 100, it sounds like it is stuck at volumes of what I'd expect to be closer to somewhere between 18 to 36, depending on the vid. after downloadig the same content the volue is notably higher in most cases; though a few vids are still effected.

I have the DTS:X ultra app (set on general), realtek audioa console, and k-lite codels; all update.
there has got to be a way to bepass the quientness of my laptop.

"Forcing audio to play louder" is a bad idea, you'll just cause digital clipping (though in the case of windows, the CAudioLimiter apo would prevent clipping while churning out tons of distortion). The volume of content varies drastically depending on the mastering and degree of dynamic range compression, so it's perfectly normal that some videos will be much louder or quieter. Youtube's "stable volume" feature is in fact volume normalization using dynamic range compression, it'll make the video "louder" overall while degrading audio quality by reducing dynamic range.
If chrome as a whole sounds quieter, check the windows volume mixer to make sure chrome's volume matches the master volume. Have you tried using a non-chromium browser such as firefox, and does that also exhibit the same symptoms? If the problem is exclusively on chrome, I'd check the volume sliders for the video players on each website you have the issue, since you could have lowered the volume on a video in the past and chrome saved that volume level for all future playback on that website.
Since you're using headphones, in the sound control panel "speaker setup" (click "configure" for your primary sound output device) the "full range speakers":"front left and right" checkbox should checked. Under advanced properties, your default format should be 24 bit 48000hz, and as a test to see if dts or realtek apps are causing issues I'd uncheck "enable audio enhancements". If disabling audio enhancements fixes the issue, then an apo from one of your applications is causing the issue.

I don't use Chromium browsers but I have noticed that lately the audio from videos of YT has gotten a lot more quieter, I notice this because when I download a video or mp3 the audio is more "normal" or louder, this does not happen when I upload the audio to my web application to listen music, so the problem does not seem to be from the browser but from YouTube.
