the virus in question is found in steam_api64.dll inside Mad Island\Mad Island_Data\Plugins\x86_64

deleting the file results in the game crashing upon trying to start a new game or load a save

the way around it is to use goldberg emulator. Copy the steam_api64.dll from goldberg's emulator into the exact directory here \Mad Island\Mad Island_Data\Plugins\x86_64, replacing the old virus one.

i dont know, it could be a false positive but goldbeg is not being detected by anything so to be on the safe side i advise to replace the steam_api64.dll with goldberg. Theres no reason not to
