RPG makers, ruby scripting question

Hello guys, I know its kinda odd to ask it here but it is for useing the RM programs, I used to learn Java programming and we reached the point where we create our own classes to count stuff, its kinda hard for me to understand the logic of creating objects with ruby and making them work, and all that RGSS2 and 3 stuff dosent help me understand it more, does anyone have some sort of way I could learn ruby/RGSS so I can really use RM programs?
