yep same error i'm getting it too, everything on my pc is japanese (system locale, date and location). Maybe it is some kind of protection?

i'm thinking its a missing file or a compatibility thing, but tbh i have no clue as i can't read japanese all that well.

You have to change the name of the folder directory to all English characters. Something about NTLE not reading Japanese characters well. I did that and it worked for me.

finally got it to work just forgot how to use NTLEAS, derp.

This game only runs for me if I change the system locale and language to japanese but not when I use applocale or NTLEAS.
Any suggestions how I could get this to work with those methods? I am getting the same error apropos had in the picture above. :(
