Okay, I've watched Upotte, and I can only say one thing; the premise is silly, but I liked it anyway!
Really... a schoolgirl comedy, but all the schoolgirls are weapons! The elementary girls are handguns, the middle school girls are assault rifles, and the high school girls are battle weapons! A good part of the series is a tutorial in weaponry.
That's just silly, but the story is clever, funny, and cute, well written and animated. And there's plenty of nice fanservice! In spite of the premise, it's a good series!
The same is true for R-15. A genius teenage pornwriter attending a school for geniuses, is forced by circumstances to write porn to save the day! In fact, the school seems to conspire to make him write more and better porn! Really?
And yet, the series is well done. The story is interesting, well written and animated. And the fanservice contributes to the story!
